Profiled Managed Portfolio

Type of discretionary management. The policyholder selects an investment profile. Then the mandate holder makes the switches, with model portfolios, to keep this profile or to change it.

The French name is "gestion pilotée profilée – sous mandat d'arbitrage". The order of 1 July 2024 ("arrêté du 1er juillet 2024") uses the name "gestion pilotée profilée". The words "sous mandat d'arbitrage" (under a switching mandate) give the legal qualification: do not remove them.

When article L. 132-5-4 of the French Insurance Code applies:

• The mandate holder reallocates the portfolio at least every six months.
• A profile can be called "prudent", "balanced" or "dynamic" only when its allocation obeys the regulatory thresholds of article A. 132-5-4. For example, a balanced profile invests at least 4 % of the premiums in unlisted assets, and a dynamic profile at least 8 %.

In the API, the management mode is discretionary-management.
